Empowering the whole child to Grow, Learn, and Lead…..
That’s Victory.
Basketball, Books, and Belonging — Helping kids build character, confidence, and connection.
Through basketball, reading, and mentorship, we create spaces where kids grow with confidence, curiosity, and care.
We believe every child deserves access to opportunities that nurture the whole child — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our programs remove barriers and build pathways to healthy development.
Who We Are
Victory for Kids expands access to basketball, reading, and mentorship so every child can stay active, keep learning, and build confidence — no matter their family’s income or neighborhood.
That’s Victory.
Our Story
Victory for Kids began with a family, a basketball, and a belief — that some of life’s most important lessons are learned through play. For generations, basketball has been part of our family’s heartbeat. We started by coaching our own children at our church, and soon found ourselves mentoring and teaching the children of others. What began as a few practices turned into a movement built on values: education, mentorship, and opportunity.
We’ve seen firsthand how sports can build confidence, spark curiosity, and shape character. That’s why Victory for Kids exists — to create spaces where every child can grow, learn, and lead. On the court, in the classroom, and through one-on-one guidance, we help kids discover their strengths and step into their potential.
That’s Victory.
What We Do
Victory on the Court: Basketball Camps, Clinics, & Leagues
We teach youth ages 6–12 the fundamentals of basketball in safe, supportive spaces led by caring coaches. From 3-on-3 games to skill-building clinics and competitive leagues, our programs focus on teamwork, confidence, and character. We actively encourage family participation — inviting parents to be part of the learning process and the joy of play.
Victory for Readers
Victory Readers serves children ages 6–12, providing a joyful, supportive space where reading, writing, and expressive language skills grow with them. Worlds Between Pages is our core reading experience. For younger children, it is built around book circles, storytelling, and sensory‑rich literacy activities that help early readers stay engaged, curious, and confident.
As children grow older, the experience evolves with them. They continue to participate in story‑based discussions and interactive reading activities, and we begin integrating Journaling — giving them space to practice writing, reflect on what they read, and strengthen their expressive language skills.
Together, these experiences create a seamless pathway where children move from joyful early reading to deeper comprehension, communication, and self‑expression.
Victory Through Mentoring
Not every child has access to a trusted mentor — and that gap can shape a lifetime. Victory Through Mentoring connects youth ages 6–12 with caring adult role models who guide, encourage, and inspire. Through one-on-one sessions, group activities, and community engagement, kids build trust, self-awareness, and life skills. Families are part of the process — working alongside mentors to support each child’s journey toward confidence, character, and purpose.
Victory isn’t just a goal — it’s something we see in motion every day. Whether on the court, in reading circles, or through mentoring moments, our programs offer children and families meaningful opportunities to grow, connect, and succeed together.
A Decade of Dedication
Victory has been serving youth and families for over 12 years with heart, purpose, and consistency. As we've grown, so has our vision — expanding programs, strengthening relationships, and deepening our impact. Today, every initiative builds on that foundation, reflecting our unwavering commitment to helping children grow in confidence, character, and connection.
